"So in class, I think my team realized there wasn't a whole lot that could get done in 45 minutes on our BB robot (which is ALWAYS the case) and planned to meet on Friday evening to "do stuff".  Also later that day I helped build a couple botball arenas, which worked pretty well.  And heated PVC pipe smells awful."

By the end of class we were not even close to finishing up everything.  The main reason that we weren’t able to get our robots working is because of the lack of support from our some of our group members.  Two of the members of our team did not do a single thing with the robots this entire semester.  This includes building, designing, or programming.  We could have easily got our robots working if everyone would have helped.  One of our team members has worked on Japanese homework every single day of class.  Every time we have asked him to help he always says he can’t because he is too busy."

The engine team STILL can't figure out how to get the robot over the piping. I have now reached the decision that we will not sucessfully complete this robot on time. It is time to cut down on what we were doing for it and focus on gaining as many points as possible.  I threw out the ball cage and that whole mess. If we can't get over the pipe, what does it really matter? I then condensed the grappler claw down in size and attached it to the rear of the robot. Hopefully, this is a good step in the right direction."
