"- My problem was that after I signed up for twiki on the workstation, I was supposed to sign up again on someone's laptop (I think...), but as soon as I started walking over there, said person packed up his laptop and left. I decided that it probably didn't matter that much and got ready for my next class. - We sucessfully planned a meeting on Tuesday that was compatable with everyone's schedule. (Will get feedback on Tuesday I guess.) - We had a consensus to show up Tuesday and work on some stuff to go over with the kids on Wednesday. - Twiki, this is interesting because it is apparently very popular, although I've never heard the name mentioned by anyone or seen it anywhere before class. - Since Twiki is so widely used, it is a good think I know about it now. I'll probably end up using it in the future."

Outside of class I spent some time thinking about and visiting the website for twiki."	"More recently I have been becoming more interested in the idea of shared webspaces like Wikipedia and now twiki. I think its interesting how incredibily easy it is to contribute to those kinds of communities and how much they rely on trust. Equally impressive is how well they actually work! I read that the typical length for "grafitti" to exist on a Wikipedia page is less than a minute. Simply because the community is large enough that there are people who check these pages for malicious behavior and correct it. It really is an amazing concept and one that has only recently been able to be fully explored, through the widespread use of the internet and computers.  It will be fun to see how effectively such a tool can be used in a classroom setting--especially in a course in which teamwork is the main focus."

I also asked her if she would care if we invited the Liberty Middle School to the mini demonstration.  Before class I went to angel to see if the surveys were online yet.  During class the professors introduced Twiki.  During class our group also set up a task list.  After class I received an email from Lindsay about Wednesday meeting.  I sent her a reply that answered all of her concerns.  Later, I received an email regarding a time change for the Lincoln Middle School meeting time.  I sent out a reply stating that the new times would be ok."	"We got a lot done as a group on Monday.  We finalized our trip plans for Lincoln Middle School.  Five of our group members will be able to participate in the mini demonstration.  It should be an interesting experience.  We decided that we would leave at 1:00 PM.  This is because we need to be there by 3:00 PM central time.  This will give us 3 hours to drive to the school.  When it came to the program Twiki, I’m not really sure what is going on.  Dr. Mutchler did not get a chance to get to our group to give us a quick summary of the program.  There is only one member of our group that is familiar with the program so he was going to set it up for us.  If this is something that we will need to use often as a group this semester, I’m hoping that something in the next week during class someone will be able to give us some more of the details about Twiki."

Unfortunately, I have NO IDEA why we are using it or what its purpose is, but dagonit! we learned about it. Also talked with the team today. We still have no heard word from any of our teams, but we plow forth to come up with ideas to make the learning process of IC and Robotics easier for them.  After classes, I sat down and started to put together some basic questions about solving C problems and simple manipulations with the XBC. Simple problems like "Hello world!" and "Infinte Beeps", just to get them started. Later, we plan to make them progressively harder and make them really useable for robotic design."

I'd probably also not be good at the whole designing lectures portion of being a teacher, so I'm glad that I ended up deciding on going into the industry, it seems like it will probably be the better choice for me at this point.  Its not that all of the information isn't there, its just that I'm not sure anyone will gain all of the information from it in one sitting."
