I hope you noticed that I did that very accurately, before. I will put in an average of 2.5 hours per day/weekend, which is the minimum of time I actually spend, including class, class assignments, working with our Botball teams, team communications, several team meetings for Beyond Botball, individual work/thought on Beyond Botball, and possibly other things which I can't think of anymore, right now. I hope that is acceptable for you. Thanks." "" "97C0406EBEF242B7A1462B9A9C8F40D1" "Blackburn, W. "- I encountered no problems. - When we start programming I'll know how sucessful my review was. - I did not work with teammates. - I learned that most of the programming is probably going to be if statements and method calls inside of a while loop. - The interactive C is very similar to C, so practice with it should help me with C, which I'll probably need to use in the future." "Today was actually almost problem free. I was able to download a simple test program to the Handyboard and control motors. The only problem was that I was the only one of my team there. I had decided rather on a whim that I wanted to work in the lab that day, so I wasn't able to ask my XP partner to join me. I think that this weekend our team will need to spend some time in the lab working together." "Today was not as productive as usual because the kids would not listen to me and Chris like they would listen to Dr. Muchler. Alex and one of the boys got made at each other and called each other names. We did have each group add stuff to the log so hopefully they will get a better score on that. The kids also were in too large of groups but working but we could not convince them to work in smaller groups." After we got back I worked with Jeffery on getting a bot to cross the bar." "The WWMS trip today was not the best we've had. He students were quite rowdy. It was hard for us college kids to command a presence to get the kids to work. They did get some work done though. Working with Jeffery was alright. I helped him get the got to go over the pipe, even if it meant removing the 4-wheel drive functionality of the bot. I also learned a differnce between us engineers and CS people. Engineers want things to be failsafe, while CSs want things to work most of the time (at least that was what my experience today was )." Basically, I tore apart the entire thing and then decided that what I had was not going to work at all. So I redesigned the thing from using technic to very large lego blocks. That seemed to have worked out better. I was able to get most of it built, however I neglected to remember to put the grappler arm on the new and improved box.
