- I suggest that you at least read the problems from HW2 today. A couple of them will take a bit of time, so you should get them in your mind early.

- Turn in Reading Quiz 2
- HW 1 is due Thursday.
- My office hours today: 12:00-2:50
Session 1
- Many of the usual "start of course" topics will happen Day 02; today we introduce Deterministic Finite State Machines (DFSM) instead.
- Reading quiz 1 is due now; quiz 2 due tomorrow or Wednesday.
- After this, reading quizzes will be infrequent; not necessarily announced in advance
- HW0 is over some background material. No problems to turn in, but take a serious look at them soon.
- HW1 due Thursday at 11:55 PM, HW2 Monday at 11:55 PM. HW will usually be due on Mondays and Thursdays.
- In-class exams will on days 14 and 26 (both are Tuesdays). Closed book and notes. Longer evening exam Thursday of 10th week; don't miss it!
- Read the Syllabus before tomorrow's class and bring questions to class.
