I also have some experience with a system similar to this project called Microsoft Team Foundation Server.   2. Project #12: Jan Jerrel -- Sounds like an interesting PHP web-based project.    3. Project #13: Donna Gustafson -- Seems like a small project, but still interesting.   4. Project #15: Lakota School District -- Another web-based application.
Gonnsen, Tyler	1.  Project # 7:  Margaret Merkle - The web portion of the dog/cat license program would give me a challenge that I think would help me learn but not be so overwhelming that I couldn't contribute.  I think this is a great idea and would love to help.      2.  Project # 12:  Jan Jerrel - Same comment as above.  Both of these seem to be something I could get into and contribute readily to, but would also provide an opportunity for me to grow.  3.  Project # 8:  Margaret Merkle - I think this would be really useful and it would be an OK project, but I'm not sure about the GIS database part though.  4.  Project # 5:  Margaret Merkle - I'm not really into this one, but it looks better than the other remaining options that I didn't choose.  I do have a little SQL experience, but probably not any more than the average student in the class b/c I haven't taken the databases course yet.

Project #11 Scheme check program Claude Anderson ;I've taken PLC and 230 from Claude before, and I've used the check program.  No experience with security however. 4. Project #6  Crime map Margaret Merkle ;This reminds me of the crime  density charts on SimCity.  So it sounds like fun to me. Although I know nothing about developing for the web, or databases. 5. Project #8  Precinct Lookup tool Margaret Merkle ;Again I know nothing about databases, but this sounds like something I could do, and I'd be able to learn in the process.  Any of these projects would be almost equally good.

Project #13: Donna Gustafson --If I understood the proposal correctly this would remove the campus calendar emails.  This would result in less mass emailing. Because I had a lot of trouble in Physics I would like to help create this studying tool. 5. Project #4: Paul Ellis Foundation  --I have experience in Java and C++. Project #7: Margaret Merkle -- I think that I would be able to help in streamlining and automating the pet registration process.  3. Project #5: Margaret Merkle -- I have a decent understanding of using SQL Server, so interacting with the database back end wouldn't be a problem.  4. Project #10: Claude Anderson -- Interacting with Kerberos would be an interesting aspect of this project.

Having worked at a help desk for a couple of years this would be cool to work on.
