Minutes for 12-19-05

We discussed the decisions which had been made at the last meeting, namely how to divide the project into different groupings.
These groupings are: Authentication, HTML Generation, Archiving, and the UI.

We then set about setting people into these groups.

Authentication:  Brant, Tookie will assist with permissions if needed.

HTML Generation:  Seabass and Dray

Archiving:  Seabass and Dray

UI:  Everyone

We also decided to move the conversion, should we decide to change the way in which things are archived, into the archiving group.
The HTML group now includes deletinon tasks as well.

Thursday after break we will discuss how the clients current archiving tool works with him.  Until this point, no work can be done on the archival tools.  After that meeting, we will sit down and design the system so that we can begin working on the project deliverables.

Tookie said there would be a code repository by the 21st at the latest so that we could theoretically work over break if we were so inclined.

Brant indicated that kerberos authentication was easier rather than harder, and this change has been reflected in the project plan.

Seabass pointed out that he had other project based obligations, and would not be able to dedicate as much time as others to the project; this is also reflected in the project plan.
