-beware of overconstraints
-clunkiness in the interface is undisirable (make it smooth)

Web based so that there is nothing to install
-do not hide admin page (false sense of security)

Review phase
-use email to remind that there is an article to review
-one button to approve and post

Possibly implement a filtering mechanism for the news page
-could use with archive

The client was thinking of adding a section of links for different constituents
-possibly track hits coming from those links to determine what different constituents are most interested in

Statistics
-keep hit statistics for internal vs. external on articles if possible

Archive
-(either button or automatically) by preset date
-search by year and such currently available
-add search by keyword

Use KERBEROS for authentication
-keep database of changes so can track who posts what
