Homework 2

Due September 9, 2004

Purpose: Prepare for project team selection, respond to previous requirements

In the last homework assignment you created a job description. In this assignment you will update your resume so that it comes as close as possible to satisfying that job description.

1. Create or update your resume. If possible, address as many of the job requirements you found in your last homework assignment. Only add information that is accurate. That is, do not lie about skills or knowledge that you do not have. Your resume must be 1 page long.

2. Share your resume with at least 3 other members of the class and ask for their comments. Be sure to include the job description you handed in last week as part of the review. (Otherwise, they won't know what your target was.)

3. When someone shares their resume with you be sure to comment on:

• skills or knowledge that you think should be added
• improvements that might strengthen their resume
• typos and misspellings.

4. Revise your resume in response to the comments from the reviewers. Remember to keep the length of the resume to 1 page.

5. Turn in your revised resume.
