Materials to help you prepare for your tests

For each test, we'll post materials to help you prepare for that test. In particular, we will be explicit about the concepts you should be able to apply for that test.

Since the details of what is covered on each test changes from term to term, we may wait until we get closer to each test before posting materials for that test here.

• For Test 3:
  • The format for Test 3 is the same as the format for Test 1.
  • Here is the Honesty Pledge which you should read before you arrive for the test. It is similar to the Honesty Pledges for previous tests.
  • Test 3 will emphasize nested loops (loops within loops), implementing classes, and implementing simple inheritance. Of course, you will also need to draw upon concepts that you have learned earlier in the course.
    • There will be no Tkinter/ttk problems on this test.
    • Graphics problems will use rosegraphics, as on previous tests.
    • There will be no robotics problems on this test.
  • Your Session 20 has excellent practice problems for Test 3.
  • These Practice Problems for the Paper-and-Pencil Part of Test 3 were included in your Session 20 project.
