Instructions:

BEFORE this session, for each of the following videos or reading:

• Watch the video (or read the reading), and as you do so,
• do this associated PAPER-AND-PENCIL quiz:

  Quiz on Event Driven Programming and Tkinter.

  • This document is a PDF; here is the same Quiz as a Microsoft Word document.

  • You can either:

    • Download it and fill it in electronically, or
    • Print it and fill it in then.
  • Do not spend more than about 15 minutes on the quiz (in addition to video-watching time).

  • Bring your solution (and questions about it) to class. (The Before-the-Session videos later in this Preparation are likely to answer your questions on it.)

    You do NOT have to turn in the above quiz.

   • Watch this Video [7:45 minutes].

3. After doing the above, but before doing the in-class project (in PyCharm):

   • Do this before-the-session quiz.
   • You do not have to print the quiz (unless you want to). Just hand-write your answers on paper or type your answers into a file, whichever is easier for you.
   • If you have questions about the quiz (as is likely), don't worry and just leave those questions blank. The Before-the-Session videos later in this Preparation are likely to answer your questions on this quiz.

4. When you are ready to begin the in-class project (in PyCharm):

   • Follow the instructions for doing the Start-the-Session videos.

   • Do NOT begin the exercises in PyCharm until you have followed the instructions on the above page!
