Instructions:

BEFORE Session 1, for each of the following videos or reading:

• Watch the video (or read the reading), and as you do so,
• do the associated quiz in Moodle.

1. If you have not already done so, do these instructions for setting up your computer for CSSE 120.

2. Watch The Flipped Classroom [4:43 minutes] (and do the associated quiz in Moodle).
3. Watch Software Engineering, Software Development, and Programming Languages [3:44 minutes] (and do the associated quiz in Moodle)

4. The following videos PREVIEW what you will do DURING Session 1.

   WATCH them NOW (and do the associated quiz in Moodle) but do NOT attempt to follow along them in PyCharm -- you will do that DURING class. Just WATCH them for now.

   • Running a program and turning in work [4:13 minutes]. Note: this and subsequent videos are from an older environment than PyCharm, but they work fine to show the concepts.
   • Objects: Constructing them, calling methods on them, and accessing their instance variables. [9:51 minutes].
