All of the following are required except items labeled Optional are, well, optional (i.e., things that may be interesting but do not directly pertain to your success in this course).

  3. Exceptions
    • Skim this explanation of Exceptions (start reading at What is Exception? about 1/3 of the way down the page).
    • Your instructor will explain Exceptions more clearly and in more detail, but the above short reading will give you a head start.
