Accuracy: How accurate is the information found on the site?
4 -- Putting aside my general distrust for a company that provides a
"public information" website on viruses (virii?) with blatant links to their
anti-virus software, the information definitely has sufficient detail to be
credible. I did notice postings of several "variants" of the same
virus--perhaps this information is really useful, but I would suspect that
it also sensationalizes the danger for less cynical visitors.
Completeness: How complete is the information? That is, are there
questions that cannot be answered at the site, even though they should be?
5 -- The information that is available is detailed and, for the most
part, complete. They do not provide the actual viruses (virii?), but if they
did I would no doubt accuse them of trying to 'scare' up even more business.
Up-to-date: How often is the site updated with recent corrections or
additions?
5 -- There were (evidently) several new variants discovered this very
day! Viruses (Virii?) are everywhere! I had better "Be Sure" (TM) with
'F-Secure' (C)!
Ease of Use: How easy is it to find information on the site?
5 -- The site is clean and navigable, especially if you are looking to
send them money. The search functionality apparently works, although the
repetition of their byline ("Be Sure" (TM)) gets rather irritating.
Links: How many links to other useful sites are found here?
2 -- Why would you ever need another virus information site? You'd
better "BE SURE" (TM) with F-SECURE (C)!.

These guys maintain a database of what viruses are currently spreading
"in the wild" and put out a monthly report. Their goal is to be a
resource for people combatting viruses, and to that end they also
catalog samples of the viruses and "provide the viruses to bona fide
antivirus researchers and developers who need to have them in order to
protect end users." There are also some links to virus-related papers,

Because I have nothing better to do on the Friday of spring break:
Accuracy: How accurate is the information found on the site?
4 -- What information is available appears credible.
Completeness: How complete is the information? That is, are there
questions that cannot be answered at the site, even though they should be?
2 -- The Wildlist provides the names of the viruses (virii?) according
to their "scientific naming" guide. If you actually want a description,
though, you are shunted to another site. There is neither detailed
information on what the virus is or how one might go about getting rid of
it.
Up-to-date: How often is the site updated with recent corrections or
additions?
3 -- The most recent "wildlist" has February, 2004 in the header.
Ease of Use: How easy is it to find information on the site?
4 -- It is not too difficult to find the information that is available,
however the "search" functionality is "under construction"--quite
inexcusable when you can copy-paste a Google search box into a webpage in
less than a minute. And I really don't like the design of the site.
Links: How many links to other useful sites are found here?

Accuracy: How accurate is the information found on the site?
3 -- A credible resource on hoaxes and chain letters. This topic is
somewhat distant from the suggested viruses (virii?) and worms, but I still
wish everyone who has my name in their address book would take the time to
read this site. After all, these chain letters are perhaps the most
efficient form a virus since they replicate without a single line of code...
Completeness: How complete is the information? That is, are there

additions?
4 -- Supposedly most recently modified on March 22, 2004.
Ease of Use: How easy is it to find information on the site?
4 -- The information is divided into somewhat self-evident categories,
and the navigation to a desired hoax page is rather straightforward. Search
