Exam 2 is Monday evening, January 20, from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

• So NOT during regular class. This is an EVENING exam.
• The exam is NOT in our usual classroom. Instead, rooms for the exam are as follows.
  • Section 1 (class meets from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Your room is Olin 257.
  • Section 2 (class meets from 10 a.m. to noon: Your room is Olin 259.
  • Section 3 (class meets from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Your room is Olin 267.
  • Section 4 (class meets from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Your room is Olin 269.

If you have any questions about the following documents/instructions, ask your instructor about them BEFORE you begin Exam 2.

1. Format of Exam 2
   • Read this explanation of the Format of Exam 2.
   • If you wish (OPTIONAL), look at this sample of the paper-and-pencil portion of Exam 2 along with this SOLUTION to that exam.
2. Expectations regarding Academic Integrity
   • Read our Expectations for Academic Integrity on this exam. You will complete and turn this in at the end of the exam.
3. Prepare your “hint sheet” (1 page, front and back), as described in the Format of Exam 2.
4. Complete your required preparation for Exam 2, as described to the right.
