Milestone Four

Re:        Milestone Four Completion

Dr. Merkle:

            Our group has completed Milestone five successfully and we have uploaded the results our web page as well as CVSed them to the repository directory. 

            We were forced to make a few changes to our data path, control, and various documents to both add certain functions and to improve the overall design efficiency.  Interrupts do not function properly in the current model of the processor because of our lack of experience regarding flip-flops.  We plan to seek assistance at a later date.  We were better able to implement our various components in Xilinx, however, we still had to deal with the various quirks of Xilinx. 

            It is our opinion that we have successfully completed milestone five.  This includes the Component design and implementation, Component testing, the data path, and all documentation updates for this stage.
