This junior/senior elective course is for the student who is interested in learning how internal combustion engines work. Part of the course will cover simple mathematical models of IC engines. Another section of the course will deal with the place of the IC engine in society.
The pre-requisite course is Fluid and Thermal Systems [ES 202].
