I made this rather small octopus to see how small I can make them. It is made from four 4" long nails, again, forge-welded together. One of the problems is that blacksmithing tools are not made for such small objects. Holding and working it presented entirely new challenges. Among others, holding on too tigh to the tongs may damage the octopus.
