The following is the minimum amount of the book that should
be read: skim the complete book, and read at least two chapters closely. (Of course, you are encouraged the read it
all if you have time and interest.)
Then, type up a 3-4 page (1.5 spacing) book report in which
you summarize and characterize the book as a whole, and then provide some
further analysis of the chapters you read in depth: what was the purpose of
those chapters? How well do you think
that purpose was achieved, and through what means? Etc.
Due Thursday, Nov. 11. I am happy to answer
questions about your report, and/or provide feedback on drafts.
