A proof-of-concept demo of VideoBuddy — A system that allows videos and quizzes to synchronize

This is a very rough Level 1 prototype. Play the video (press the button button-thing in the video's upper-left) when you are ready to see it in action. Hover over the bottom of the video to see the Player's controls (e.g. the Pause button).

In theory, this prototype will operate in all modern browsers, but I have done very little testing.

This is NOT a polished presentation of this work. In particular, I have made very little effort to make this layout pretty/useful/sensible. But I hope that running this video gives an idea of where I will soon be with this system.

Video:

The idea to this system is to synchronize video (below) with quiz questions (to the right). The synchronization is based on software that David Mutchler wrote this summer.

Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4

The buttons above are not implemented yet (but could be). Clicking on one of the buttons would move both the video and the quiz to the point at which that quiz question should appear.

As such, the buttons could form a sort of table of contents. Or, one could put a table of contents into the system separately.
