Tom Mason is Director of the Institute’s Master of Science in Engineering Management program: www.rose-hulman.edu/msem. Dr. Mason came to Rose-Hulman in 1972 after receiving his Ph.D. in economics at the University of Pittsburgh. His BA in economics is from Geneva College. In addition to his position as Professor of Economics, he has been Department Head of Humanities and Social Sciences, Vice-President for Administration and Finance. Tom has been a member of the board of directors or advisors of several small high tech firms. His experience also includes being CFO and then CEO of a 140 person computer systems business while on a 3 year leave from Rose-Hulman.
