Homework will be assigned daily. Bring your HW to class where you will be be asked to put one of the problems on the board. Occasionally, HW may be collected. We will primarily be working problems during class. Your attendance is important, and absences above 6 hours (i.e., 3 class meetings), failure to work in class, or unpreparedness may result in a grade penalty. You will be assigned a grade every week and your final grade will be the average of these grades and your grade for any submitted HW assignments (with the HW weighted collectively as one midterm). I reserve the right to give a written final if I deem it necessary; it would also be weighted the same as a weekly grade.
