Homework will be collected on Mondays and Thursdays (starting 9 Sept.)
and will be graded (10%). Read each section from which homework is assigned.
There will be three midterm exams (15% each). The final exam will be cumulative
(35%). Classroom participation, particularly when problems are being worked in-class, is important and will be graded (10%). The passing grade for the course is 60%, but if your final exam score is below 50% you are liable to fail regardless of your course average. If you are unprepared for class a grade penalty may be applied.
The Mathematics Academic Integrity Policy is in effect in this course.
