Homework will be collected on Mondays and Thursdays (starting 7 Sept.)
and will be graded (10%). Read any section from which homework is assigned.
There will be four midterm exams (15% each). The final exam will be cumulative
(25%). Classroom participation, particularly when problems are being worked in-class, is important (5%). If you are absent more than eight times or unprepared for class a grade penalty may be applied.
