1.                The final exam is comprehensive and is common to all the sections.

2.                The lowest quiz and homework scores will be dropped. I encourage you to work in

teams but do not copy homework solutions. There will be some review sessions for

homework and I encourage you to attend them.

3.                You may substitute your lowest score of one-hour exam with the final exam score.

4.                Equations sheet will be provided with your exam. You need not prepare one. We will

have some exam review the day before the exam.

5.                Make sure that you are registered for a PH112 lab class this quarter.

Homework: It is an important part of your learning and will be assigned from different chapters to keep the continuity of learning. I will be collecting homework and have quizzes on some of the problems given as homework.

Quiz: There will be a quiz for the first 5 minutes on any day of the class on the topic  covered in the previous class.

Quiz will be from one of the class problems or homework problems.

All work performed for this class must be your own. Penalties for incidents of plagiarism, cheating or other academic misconduct will be at least a loss of all credits on the specific work affected by the incident. Other action may be necessary and will follow the Institute's honor code policy as set forth in the Academic Rules and Procedures handbook.
