October 2004 Cab is glass bead blasted and painted with
POR-15.

October 2003 - The frame has been painted with
POR-15, a rust preventative paint.
October 2003 - The frame has been bead blasted and all of the paint and rust
has been removed. The frame now looks like it did before we moved from Arizona
to Indiana.
July 2003 - Several parts have been painted with
POR-15, a rust preventative paint.
July 2003 - The vehicle has been completely disassembled.
June 2003 - Work begins again on the vehicle we have now renamed the
"Electric Rust Bucket."

In June 2001 we moved from Flagstaff, Arizona to Brazil, Indiana. The
entire vehicle was covered with rust within three days of moving to Indiana.

May 2001 - Original suspension replaced. The front suspension has been
replaced by a Mustang II Independent suspension. The rear has been
replaced by a 3/4 ton rear axle with leaf springs and shock absorbers. A 3/4
ton rear end is needed to support 1000 pounds of batteries that the vehicle
will carry at all times. The front end engine mounts have been modified to hold
a 9-inch diameter DC electric motor.

July 2000 - Vehicle frame and inside of the cab has been completely sand
blasted. Frame is completely clean of rust and dirt.

Vehicle is disassembled to modify modify the frame and refinish the body.
Many of the body panels have been stripped. Pictures also show the old 1947
suspension.
