Team Bubble

The purpose of the project was to design a Matlab program and a Working Model program that calculated desired values for launching a projectile towards a target at xmax and h coordinates away.  The equipment used included: a projectile made of a ping pong ball and the tail of a dart, a long tube, and a pump that created a vacuum in the tube.  To accomplish the finished product, we had to find the correct air resistance values, create a program in Matlab that will find our initial angle and distance values, and create a simulation of the projectile being launched in Working Model.  Overall, our project was a success.  With the given values of xmax and h, we were able to successfully hit the target twice; once directly in the center.  Our only problem factors were the inconsistency of the values for the speed of the projectile and the variation from projectile to projectile.
