Homework: |
Homework problems will be assigned in class at which time the due date will be given. Please show all of your work (this means to explain your answers when appropriate). Please write only on one side of the paper. You are encouraged to discuss the homework with your colleagues, however, you are required to prepare your own solutions. |
Exams: |
There will be three in-class exams which will consist of short essay from topics listed on the provided study guide. |
Holography Experiment: |
There will be a holography workshop that will be conducted in DL115 at various times this term. The specific dates will be posted on the web site and announced in class as they become available. Your participation in one of the workshops will count toward your final grade. |
Grades: |
The final grade will be determined as follows: Homework 40% Exams 45% Holography Experiment 15% |
Exam#3 is now available in the Learning Center. Please make sure that the Learning Center is open and open for long enough to allow you to complete your exam. You have until the end of the day on Thursday, November 15, 2012 to complete the exam.
Do not forget to turn in all of your homework before you leave campus for Thanksgiving Break!
