GENERAL LAB PROCEDURE

A total of six lab experiments are to be performed during the course.
Each student will receive a copy of written instructions for the lab experiment to be performed by his or her group.
Each group will perform a different set of measurements constituting an experiment so there will be a minimum of conflicts or waiting time.
The experiments are to be performed carefully and thoroughly with each member of the group taking turns using the equipment and devices.
All measurements are to be taken and lab handouts filled out within the 3-hour lab period, if possible. Lab handouts/reports MUST be handed in by noon two days after the lab period, unless otherwise specified by the instructor.
The lab handout is to be filled out as neatly as time allows, but mainly it must be legible. The instructor for each lab will tell you of any additional written requirements for that lab.
Lab handouts will be graded on a ten-point basis for each experiment by the instructor in charge of the experiment.
