I had 4 scalar equations for velocity and 4 for
acceleration.
Problem 3:
I had six equations and six unknowns. The biggest on
the exam was not handling the hole correctly (it is easiest to consider it as a
negative mass and then just consider the two centers of gravity in your kinetic
diagrams). The second mistake was not recognizing that the acceleration of
point C has and x and a y component.
