Answers Test 2, 2001-2002
You may have a different number of equations depending.
Problem 1:
I had 4 unknowns and 4 equations (AM rate, 2 kinematics
equations and a geometry equation)
Problem 2:
I had 5 equations and 5 unknowns (2 LM rate equations, 1 AM rate equation,
2 geometry equations. I treated the systems as two bars (with their own
center of gravities).
Problem 3
I'm sorry, but I didn't have an electronic version of this
problem.
