HOMEWORK (HW):

The purpose of homework assignments is to give you an opportunity to practice and learn new skills. In short to help you learn. Do the homework daily! Don’t let it pile up.

Homework assignments will be made daily and collected as sets on a regular basis as indicated in the schedule. Unless your are told differently, you are encouraged to first attempt these problems on your own before you discuss them with your peers. There is no penalty for working as a group (unless you let everyone else do the work and you learn nothing). In fact, you are encouraged to work in groups. If you and your group still cannot solve the problem get help from your professor. Solutions for most of these assignments will be available in the library AFTER they are turned in.
