Conservation and Accounting Principles

Catalog Description
Concepts of system, conservation and accounting of extensive properties, and
constitutive relations are introduced as a common framework for engineering analysis and
modeling. Conservation equations are developed for mass, charge, momentum, and
energy, and an accounting equation is developed for entropy. Applications are taken
from all engineering disciplines. |
