The Basic Interface Board (BIB)is a multipurpose low cost interfacing board for the PC whichplugs into the parallel port. It contains a 8 bit A/D converter, a instrumentation amplifier, anddigital throughput. Click For Accessory pinouts

DOS software for the BIB was written by Mike Moloney as part of a summer workshop on computer interfacing in the physics laboratory. Through a summer grant, the software was updated to operate under WIN95. Currently used in most Rose-Hulman physics labs with sonic rangers, digital encoders, strain gauges, and other analog or digital inputs.
