Homework Assignments

• Homework 1, due Tuesday 9/6/11: Read sections 1.1 and 1.2, and "skim" 1.3 (to see the many areas of science and engineering in which DE's are used). Then do
  • Section 1.1: 1 to 7 odd, 11, 13, 23, 27, 35, 45, 51.
  • Section 1.2: 1 to 9 odd, 25, 27, 31, 43.
  Nothing to turn in on this one, but there will be a short quiz on 9/6 in which I'll give you 2 or 3 problems VERY similar to those above!
