The 2,3, and 4'th images have the details portion normalized so
that they are visible as images. The last picture is unnormalized
and shows that most of the energy is in the three level approximation,
(upper left hand corner) showing why wavelet decomposition works well for
compression. The tranforms may be manipulated and then converted
back to the original form to achieve some effect such as compression or
feature detection.
