4/25/07 We decided how to spend the rest of the budget for this academic year.
4/18/07 Phil Ruehl was elected Club President, Ben Atkinson was elected Club Vice President, Megen Velten was elected Club Treasurer.  A quorum was present so the new location of the helix was approved.
3/28/07 The budget was created and submitted for approval by the Student Government Association.
3/17/07 A number of points were discussed in order to get everyone on the same page and iron out the plan for this quarter.  Meetings were moved to Wednesday nights.
2/3/07 We nearly finished the benchwork along the back wall of the room and made plans for the next few meetings.  We discussed helping to build a model of the Terre Haute area for the county fair.
1/28/06 We began construction of the benchwork along the back wall and made the room ready for the electrical outlets to be moved.  A plan to support the peninsula was devised.
1/21/06 We determined the lumber we need to buy to begin construction.  A long discussion nailed down the final configuration of the layout and the layout appearance.  It was decided that we will request a budget increase.
1/13/06 We did extensive benchwork planning and began marking on the deck floor where the layout will go.  We focused on the frame for the shelf along the back wall of our room and on the peninsula and helix.  We had a short discussion about the DCC system.
12/16/06 It was decided to delay the benchwork planning and construction until space could be cleared in the club room; the THUD modules were moved under the deck until we can get them displayed somewhere, and some of the modular layout modules were restacked to make more space underneath the deck.  Scenery construction materials and modular layout support legs, along with a great deal of lumber, which were moved out from under the deck several meetings ago were moved back in a more organized and accessible fashion.  Finally, our old wooden cabinets were moved off the deck pending removal by the campus Facilities Operations Department. Finally, the requirements for the layout's Digital Command Control system were discussed.
12/10/06 After a short informational update, the club traveled to the local hardware store to purchase a new soldering iron and some other tools.  We then finished the holiday display which was set up in Percopo 2 lobby.
12/3/06 We spent the time catching up on updates for the members regarding displaying the THUD modules and the layout plans were discussed in detail and were amended, with additions.  The track was laid for the holiday display, which will be set up next week.
11/1/06 We discussed getting a subscription to "Model Railroader" magazine as well as details of potentially setting up the Terre-Haute Union Depot modules somewhere on campus.  We discussed the meeting schedule for the time between Thanksgiving and the Holidays.
10/21/06 This was an activity meeting.  We were successful in cleaning most of the club room and determining what tools and supplies we have.  The tool bench was moved up onto the sub-floor and may be replaced with a steel bench later on.  Our old cabinets were emptied and a new metal one was assembled.
9/27/06 At this second informational meeting we elected the new Secretary and Treasurer.  We discussed the club budget for this year, and plans to organize the club room.  An activity meeting was scheduled for 10/21/06.
9/13/06 This was the first official meeting this academic year and we spent the time introducing the new members and discussing the plans for this year.
