Q: How long will I have my campus mailbox?
A: 4 years
Q: How do I know when I have a package to be picked up?
A: You will receive an
email notification that a package/s has arrived.
Q: Do I need special envelopes for mailing?
A: Yes, for Priority and Express. Special envelopes are available
free of charge outside the Mail Processing Center. If you do not use
these envelopes, the mailing will not receive the special attention
you paid for.
Q: How do I have my mail forwarded to a new address?
A: You can view or update
your mail forwarding address electronically through the Banner Web
system. Follow these Banner Web User Instructions:
- Go to the
RHIT web page
- Under Quick Links, click on
the down arrow and select Banner Web
- enter your Kerberos Username
and Password, click on Login or hit the enter key on your
keyboard
- click on Personal Information
- Click on View or Update
Address(es) and Phone(s), your active addresses will appear on
the screen
- Follow the instructions on the
screen
Q: How long will the mailroom forward my mail?
A: We will only forward First-Class, Priority, Express mail and
Federal Express for 12 months and periodicals for 60 days.
Q: When is the best time to inform magazine and newspaper
publishers and other business mailers of my move?
A: You should let all publishers and other business mailers know
at least four to six weeks before you move. Follow the publisher’s
change of address instructions and the change of address instructions
noted on billing statements you receive.
