Triangle
 |
It was the fall of 1906 when 16 civil engineering
juniors at the University of Illinois began the association that
became Triangle Fraternity. These founders based their organization
on the principles of honor, friendship, character, brotherhood,
courage and high ideals. They developed their plans quickly
and on April 15th, 1907, incorporated Triangle in the State of
Illinois. Our founders' zeal for Triangle soon reached beyond
the Illinois campus, and today we have chapters at 36 universities
and colleges across the country. The Rose-Hulman Chapter of
Triangle was founded on May 4, 1968. Since then, it has grown to be
one of the most successful chapters both for the Rose-Hulman campus
and the Triangle National Fraternity. |
"What are Triangle's Greek letters?" Unlike
most other social fraternities, Triangle does not have a Greek
letter name. This is one point that makes Triangle stand out
in contrast with other fraternities on its campuses. While
some students may have problems separating one Greek name from
another, Triangle is easy to recognize as the only national social
fraternity for students in engineering, architecture and
science.
Welcome to the Rose-Hulman chapter of Triangle.
