Phi Gamma Delta
The Rho Phi chapter of Phi Gamma Delta (also known as FIJI) became an official colony on October 7, 1968 and on November 22, 1969 officially became the Rho Phi Chapter of the international fraternity. The Rho Phi chapter house is the Barhydt-Ehrmann Home on 6th St. The house was built in 1921 by Theodore Barhydt and purchased by the chapter in the fall of 1970. Much of the house has remained the same since it was purchased to retain its historic value.
The Rho Phi chapter follows the rules of the international fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta, which is a value-based fraternity. The five values of the chapter are friendship, knowledge, service, morality and excellence. The men of the chapter try to use these values as a rule to guide the decisions that they make each day.
