This is an organization that
allows chemical engineers to use their engineering and chemistry
skills when designing a shoe-box size car. Each year, AIChE
organizes a regional and national competition where we get to
compete against other top engineering programs. In this
competition, the car powered by a chemical reaction, must go a
specific distance with a specific load defined prior to the
competition.
