  Rose-Hulman News Rose-Hulman Tennis Improves to 9-2 with Win Over Oakland City
 

Ellyn Norris was one of three Engineers to win twice on Tuesday.

TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology improved to 9-2 on the women's tennis season with a 5-1 victory over Oakland City on Tuesday night.

Senior Sam Danesis (Akron, Ohio), junior Megan Chann (Columbia, Mo./ Rock Bridge) and sophomore Ellyn Norris (Penn Laird, Va./ Spotswood) paced the Engineers within victories in both singles and doubles play.

Sophomore Klara Schroederus (Glenview, Ill./Glenbrook South) teamed with Danesis for the final win of the day at the No. 1 doubles spot.

Rose-Hulman returns to action at the four-team Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament against Franklin at 9 a.m. on Friday.  The winner of Friday's four-team event will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
