Megan Chann picked up a
victory in No. 2 Doubles with Sage Sackett in Saturday's match against Mount
St. Joseph. |
CINCINNATI, OHIO -- Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology women's tennis team split a pair of matches this
weekend as they defeated Mount St. Joseph 5-1 but fell to
Transylvania 7-2.
Senior Sam Danesis (Akron, Ohio/ Revere)
earned victories in both matchs as she swept No. 1 singles and the No. 1 doubles spot
with freshman Melissa Montgomery (Alexandria, Ind/Munroe).
Sophomore Klara Schroederus (Glenview,
Ill/Glenbrook South) picked up victories at both the No. 5
singles as well as earning a victory with sophomore Ellyn Norris (Penn Laird, Va.)
in No. 3 doubles in the match against Mount St. Joseph.
Rose-Hulman is now 6-2 on the season faces
competition in the Franklin Hughes Invitational.
