TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has placed two players in the regional rankings from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Sophomore Sam Danesis (Akron, Ohio) stands No. 10 in singles in the Central Region and has teamed with freshman Megan Chann (Columbia, Mo.) for a No. 9 ranking in doubles play.

Danesis finished 16-3 in singles play this fall and has a career record of 36-6 in two years at Rose-Hulman.  She has twice been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year.

The team of Danesis and Chann tallied a 15-2 record at No. 1 doubles, including a championship at the HCAC Individual Tournament.  Danesis has a career doubles mark of 32-6 over two seasons, including the 17 matches with Chann this fall.
