  Rose-Hulman News Record Season Ends with Loss to Southern Indiana
 

Sam Danesis finished 20-3 in singles play to set a school record this season.

TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology completed its best women's tennis season in school history with a loss to Southern Indiana on Wednesday.

The Engineers finished 13-8 overall to set school records for wins and winning percentage.  Rose-Hulman also placed second in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference last fall to tally its best league finish in school history.

Freshman Sam Danesis (Akron, Ohio/Revere) led the team's individual performance with HCAC Player of the Year honors.  Danesis set school records with a 20-3 mark in singles play, a 17-5 doubles record and a total of 37 victories on the season.
