CRAWFORDSVILLE, IND. – Rose-Hulman freshman Nathan Ridgley (Lebanon, Ohio) tallied a 3-1 record and the Engineers earned their first duel win of the season at the Wabash College Monon Bell Duals on Saturday.

Ridgley earned a 3-2 victory at 133 pounds against Lincoln University and took advantage of a pair of forfeits to lead the Engineer efforts and improve his overall record to 7-7.

The Engineers highlighted the day with a 28-21 victory over Wilmington College in the first match.  Ridgley, freshman Chris Duncan (Terre Haute/South) and sophomore Greg Williams (Boonville) each earned forfeit victories for 18 of the team's points. 

Junior Ryan Schalk (Centreville, Va./Westfield) pinned Tim Dettwiler of Wilmington at 2:40 for a key win in the dual match.  Junior Tyler Goble (Bloomington/South) clinched the team win with a 10-1 victory at 165 pounds.

Rose-Hulman returns to action at the prestigious Wheaton College Invitational next weekend.
