  Rose-Hulman News Tyler Goble 4-0, Ryan Schalk 3-1 Lead Wrestling at Wabash
 

Tyler Goble -- 4-0 at the Wabash Monon Bell Duals

CRAWFORDSVILLE, IND. – Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology sophomore Tyler Goble (Bloomington/South) finished a perfect 4-0 to lead the team's effort at the Wabash College Monon Bell Wrestling Duals on Saturday.

 

Goble earned four victories by decision, with scores of 3-0 over Barton Bridge of Wabash, 5-3 over Gianni Ontiveros of Lincoln, 15-0 over Tyler Dougherty of the All-Star team, and 5-4 over Jay Salge of Ohio Northern.  He improved to 17-11 on the season.

 

Sophomore Ryan Schalk (Centreville, Va./Westfield) added a 3-1 mark and two pins at 157 pounds.  Schalk's effort included pins of Darren Olsen and Dan Brown, along with a 14-6 win over Lucas Jacomet of Ohio Northern.  He improved to 16-10 overall.

 

Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference duals at the College of Mount St. Joseph on Tuesday.
