Rebekah Forsyth -- Honorable mention preseason All-American from d3hoops.com

TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior Rebekah Forsyth (Farmersburg/N. Central) has been named an honorable mention Preseason All-American by d3hoops.com.

Forsyth finished ninth nationally in scoring at 21.4 points per game last season and was 10th in NCAA Division III statistics in rebounds at 11.4 per contest.

Her efforts helped Rose-Hulman achieve the first winning season in school history at 13-12 last winter.

In her three-year career, Forsyth has scored 1,342 points and grabbed 843 rebounds.  She needs 70 points to become the program's all-time leading scorer.

Rose-Hulman opens to the 2006-07 season at the Franklin College Tip-off Tournament on Nov. 17-18. The Engineer home opener is Nov. 29 vs. Anderson University.
