BLOOMINGTON, IND. –
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior Matt Repking
(Effingham, Ill./ Teutopolis) capped his career with a school
record to highlight the final track and field meet of the 2008
season.
Repking
ran a time of 9:28.57 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at Indiana
University to place seventh overall against a predominately Division
I field. His time of 9:28.57 topped the previous mark set by
Barry Wallen in 1982 by a two second margin.
Senior
Rachel Krasich (Westfield) added the second best time of her
career in the 3,000-meter steeplechase to cap her career.
Krasich ran a time of 11:28.38 for sixth place against the Division
I field.
Senior
Janel Belton (Chesterfield, Mo./Parkway West) added a 10th place
finish in the discus throw to round out the Engineer efforts. |
