TERRE HAUTE, IND. – The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology track and field team earned five all-conference awards and two special honors from the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Senior Thomas Reives (Indianapolis/ Arsenal Tech) was named the HCAC Field Athlete of the Year, while Larry Cole earned league Men's Coach of the Year accolades after leading the squad to its first league title since 1989.

Reives won league championships in both the long jump and triple jump to lead Rose-Hulman's overall effort.  He set a league record with a triple jump leap of 46' 6" that stands third in the college's all-time record book.  Reives also won the long jump with a leap of 22' 5 3/4".
