  Rose-Hulman News Schipper Leads the Way at DePauw Invitational
 

Ryan Schipper cleared 15' 3" for sixth place.

GREENCASTLE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior pole vaulter Ryan Schipper (Fort Wayne/Dwenger) led the Engineer efforts at the DePauw Invitational on Saturday, a major meet consisting of over 700 participants.

Schipper cleared 15' 3" to place sixth overall in the pole vault.   Freshman Jonathan Rogers (Terre Haute/North) tied a personal best of 13' 6" for 13th place.

Freshman Michael Burris (Terre Haute/North) pitched in with a 10th place finish in the 55-meter high hurdles in a time of 8.16 seconds. 

Freshman Sarita Stephney (Houston, Texas/Hastings) led the women's effort with a 12th place finish in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.64.

Rose-Hulman hosts its Indoor Finale on Senior Day next Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the Sports and Recreation Center.
