Allison Steiner begins her second season on
the Engineer coaching staff this fall.
Steiner played two years of college
volleyball at the University of Evansville from 2001-02, after earning
all-conference honors during a standout high school career. She spent one
semester abroad at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England in 2003, before
earning a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Indiana State
University.
Off the court, Steiner has served as a
teaching assistant and tutor in the Vigo County School Corporation for the
last three years. She has also volunteered with several community
organizations, including Big Brother/Big Sister, the 14th and Chestnut
Community Center, and the Special Olympics.
In addition, she has also coached the
Crossroads of America volleyball squad for two years. Steiner and her
husband Andrew reside in Terre Haute.
